Choosing a Shortcut's Icon - Large-sized Previews

When you choose to change the icon for a shortcut or folder or anything, there should a full-sized preview for the larger icons, either beside the selection grid or in a tool-tip, or each "cell" in the grid itself should just be the largest icon size possible, and viewed in a filmstrip-like manner.
Thanks!
*gets back to checking out all the cool huge new icons in Vista and applying each one in turn to a dummy shortcut*

But... some of the largest possible icons in the shell32.dll file can fill my screen - if you go to the Desktop and arrange the icons or something like that, you can make them "Large", and they are!
Previewing them is a good idea, but probably not enough space :op
